Brigham and Women's Hospital Interstitial Lung Disease Center
The Interstitial Lung Disease Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital brings together a unique multidisciplinary team of physicians including rheumatologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, and radiologists, dedicated to providing specialized care for patients with interstitial lung disease.
The causes of ILD are not always understood, therefore it is often difficult to determine how the disease developed and how to treat it. Recognizing the challenges surrounding the disease and the benefits that could be gained through closer collaboration, Brigham and Women’s Hospital created the ILD Clinic.
The center has also established a Sarcoidosis and Granulomatous Disease Service within the ILD program with sites at both the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Faulkner Hospital.
