The physicians at BIDMC ILD Center have years of both clinical and research experience. Tremendous emphasis is placed upon availability to patients and communication with referring or co-managing physicians. A team of experienced practitioners, including pulmonologists, pathologists, radiologists, thoracic surgeons and physical therapists expert in pulmonary rehabilitation, allows the optimization of care for individuals with ILD. In addition, BIDMC pulmonary division participates extensively in clinical trials pertaining to interstitial lung diseases.
